The Better Me Movement is an organization driving inspiration, goals, and commitment into the lives of youth and young adults who may feel lost or hopeless. This organization creates an educational environment to enhance the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for career readiness and life skills.
Society claims youth are our future. But what has society done to empower individuals to better themselves in all they do? Young people are more lost than ever. The educational system can only extend so far. Teachers are overworked and underpaid. Lessons are no longer stimulating or effective. Parents rely on schools to raise their children while they raise someone else’s through their occupation.
The Better Me Movement will bridge the gap of this paradoxical imbalanced life. There is a lack of responsibility in the communities that needs to be addressed. Adolescents are confused and uninformed about what steps to take to get to college, how they are expected to go to school debt free, how to write a resume, start a business, or even survive given the conditions they face. Parents and guardians are aware of this issue, but they are unaware of the solution. As a result, the world decides who they become – a statistic.
The founders of the Better Me Movement recognized, understood, and executed this plan to change the value and worth of our future – one community at a time. The attitudes of others will transpire belief, once they see there is another outlet, aside from school, where youth can grow in to the future meant to pioneer change and positivity.
